Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling
About me.
My approach to therapy is Integrative, drawing from a range of therapeutic models to provide personalised support tailored to your unique needs. By combining psychodynamic, humanistic, and person-centered techniques, I create a flexible and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences safely. This holistic approach helps address the whole person: mind, body, and emotions, which promotes healing, self-awareness, and lasting change.
In today’s fast-paced world, many of us lose touch with what is happening internally. When emotions and experiences remain unprocessed, they can manifest as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, stress, addictive behaviours, eating disorders, as well as physical symptoms.
Therapy offers a space to slow down and begin listening to what your mind and body are trying to communicate.
Through counselling and psychotherapy, you are invited to pause, breathe, and explore your inner world in a safe and supportive way. By developing greater awareness of your emotions, thoughts, and relational patterns, you can begin to understand yourself more deeply and make meaningful, lasting changes.
This process supports reconnection with your authentic self; what the british psychoanalist Winnicott referred to as the ‘True Self”.
As self-understanding and self-acceptance grow, many people find they feel more grounded, emotionally resilient, and able to live in a way that feels more aligned and fulfilling. They also feel less anxious and able to be more accepting and present with people around them.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Carl Rogers, 1961
Change often begins with acceptance rather than self-criticism. Therapy can help facilitate this inner shift, allowing positive changes to unfold naturally in your relationships, emotional wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
